PRE-K PROGRAM
Welcome to the Pre-Kindergarten program at Living Waters Children's Center, where we provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for children preparing for their educational journey. Our faith-based program is designed to prepare children academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually for the transition to kindergarten. We believe that each child is a precious creation of God, and we strive to foster their growth while instilling Christian values and teachings.
OUR APPROACH
CHRIST CENTERED LEARNING
Our program integrates biblical principles into all aspects of learning. We strive to create an environment where children can deepen their understanding of God's love, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and grow in faith through prayer, worship, Bible stories, and Christian values.
ACADEMIC PREPAREDNESS
Our curriculum focuses on building a solid foundation in early literacy, math, science, and critical thinking skills. We provide engaging activities, hands-on experiences, and age-appropriate challenges to promote cognitive development, problem-solving abilities, and a love for learning.
SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
LITERACY & LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
We foster a love for reading and language by providing a print-rich environment, storytelling sessions, guided reading activities, and phonics instruction. Children engage in writing exercises, learn sight words, and develop comprehension skills.
MATH & SCIENCE EXPLORATION
Our program includes hands-on math activities, problem-solving challenges, and science experiments. Children explore concepts such as numbers, shapes, patterns, measurement, and scientific inquiry, encouraging critical thinking and a curiosity about the world.
ARTISTIC EXPRESSION
We encourage children to express their creativity through various art forms, including painting, drawing, sculpting, and dramatic play. These activities stimulate imagination, fine motor skills, self-expression, and an appreciation for beauty and God's creation.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
Pre-Kindergarten children have regular opportunities for outdoor exploration and physical activity. They engage in games, team sports, nature walks, and gross motor skill development, fostering a healthy lifestyle and a connection with the natural world.
PARENT PARTNERSHIP
We believe that parents are an integral part of their child's education. We maintain open lines of communication, providing regular updates on your child's progress and achievements. We also encourage parental involvement through classroom volunteering, family events, and parent-teacher conferences, fostering a strong partnership between home and school.
